![]() ![]() Were really looking forward to The Vintage Wedding Fair in Harrogate on tomorrow. Please come and see us to view our new books of Vintage Wedding Photography in Harrogate Below is an image from a recent vintage photo shoot taken in our studio with some of our vintage props including a lovely vintage Bakelight telephone.
![]() ![]() It’s always good to do an engagement shoot, we provide them free with every wedding. We are Shooting Gemma and Ben’s Wedding Photography at Hey Green, Marsden. We just knew that Ben and Gemma’s shoot would be fun. They knew our style from looking on our website and had really liked our images and style. It was great to finally meet them after all the email exchanges. They said they wanted to do a shoot that involved eating some lovely treats at The Vintage Cupcake Kitchen, so the lovely staff there saved Gemma and Ben a seat by the window and baked some fantastic looking personalised cakes. They were then served proper tea in beautiful vintage crockery. Its a gem of a cafe and we love going there ourselves!
Tim and Elizabeth are a really fun loving couple. We met them on several occasions in The Riverhead, Marsden to discuss their wedding plans and had some really lovely nights. We knew that they wanted the day to be relaxed and they had decided to have individual cakes instead of a traditional one. Let them eat cake was the order of the day! Their wedding was at the Huntsman, near Holmfirth, West Yorkshire and started with a crisp morning with a lovely blue sky and snow on the ground. The Inn is surrounded by fields and the nearby sheep seemed oblivious of the preparations and nervous excitement building inside their nearest neighbours. When we met Elizabeth in the morning, she was having her hair done and she looked beautiful. Their were four young very pretty bridesmaids who were soon ready and soon time it was time for the ceremony. I left Amanda filming and photographing the final bridal preparations, whilst I went down to photograph the guests arriving, chatting and taking their place in the marriage room. After the beautiful ceremony, we continued to get candid photographs of the day. As the light dimmed we found an interesting place to take some images. Tim and Elizabeth are really fun loving, and they jumped at the chance of doing something different. We think it came out really well and was worth getting slightly chilly. We did a quick edit on these few, they really stood out in a floodlit pool of light. I and they proved to be popular with the guests as t was midnight when we got back to the studio in Uppermill and immediately started to download the day’s images. We always relive the day when we get back to the studio – its really exciting to see the shots you have got. To see some more of the images on Facebook, please click HERE
