We were really excited to photograph Charlotte and Matts wedding at Soughton Hall, its such a great venue and they are a realy lovely couple.
We arrived to a super relaxed Charlotte and met up with other family members, Immediately we were fed C0issants , fruit and coffee, what a great start to the day. We took the opportunity to capture relaxed photos in and around the house. Family was obviously very important to Charlottes family and it was lovely to see hoe close they all were.
We soon headed over to the Upton Baptist Church which was appropriate as it was raining in Biblical proportions when we arrived, the church was packed to the rafters. Charlotte was fashionably late. She headed down the aisle to be met by her happy husband to be and ther followed a very warm ceremony full of Christainity and love. Christianity features very strongly in their lives and this showed in the ceremony which also featured a brilliant puppet show starring Charlotte and Matt to engage the children further and amuse everyone. This shows the couple’s fun side and it was very well received .
It was fantastic to photograph the wedding at Soughton Hall as it was an amazing backdrop with its beautiful gardens to the front. Charlotte had arranged for a vintage style ice cream vendor on his bike to hand out ice creams to the guests. Yummy! Amanda enjoyed the mint chic chip and the chocolate!
We headed off for photographs around the grounds, thankfully the sun had started to shine and we had a lovely time exploring the scenery. After the heartwarming speeches and a lovely meal we headed out again to the garden along with pretty parasols and took some more images including some on the swing. The sun was really low now which always adds and extra dimension to the images, we often replicate the sun with off camera flash, we do it at all weddings where its not quite as sunny as planned, a technique born out of coming from Manchester we think!
Best wishes and all our love to Charlotte and Matt, all our best wishes for a happy life together.
