Michael and Fran’s Wedding Photographs from The White Hart, Lydgate.

We were back taking wedding photographs at The White Hart, Lydgate a couple of weeks ago and it’s always a pleasure, especially with a fun couple like Fran and Michael. If anyone deserved a Honeymoon/Holiday it’s this lovely couple. In the last week they have moved from Newcastle to Oldham, Michael has started a new job and they got married.Wow.

Non of this was evident as we met Fran during her bridal preparations at The White Hart, cool and cucumber spring to mind (and croissants, strawberries and champagne). Is it wrong that we seem to have a champagne breakfast most weekends, no I though so!

I left Amanda with Fran and her bridesmaids whilst I went off to meet Michael and photograph the guests arriving at St John’s in Lees. The vicar here is old school to say the least and his attitude towards photographers is different but lets quickly move on.

After the ceremony we were back at The White Hart for the reception. Michael and Fran grabbed a bottle of champers and we sneaked off for a great half hour of fun photography in the fields, this is always a fab part of the day for us and for the newly married couple.

After the meal and the speeches, the highlight of which had to be the powerpoint presentation, non of which can be repeated, the evening guests arrived we photographed the first dance. when we left the party was in full swing as you would expect with a room half full of Geordies.
