We feel really privileged and delighted to have been chosen to photograph my cousin Claudia’s son Richard’s marriage to Kaylie.
Kaylie got ready with her five bridesmaids on the outskirts of Cheltenham. We took some lovely getting ready shots using a window which allowed allow us to appear to be in two rooms at once. Kaylie looked stunning in her dress and fabulous 5 inch heels!
The couple chose to get married at Leckhampton where Kaylie’s Mum and Dad had got married. The sun blazed on the beautiful stone of this charming Cotswold stone Church nestled in the hills as the guests milled and caught up with each other.
Amanda positioned herself on a gentle bend to catch the car entering and sped back to get more photos of the wedding party before a nervous Kaylie walked down the aisle.
There was a lovely ceremony in which Amanda’s Uncle gave one of the speeches and after we headed out for some photos and headed to the Lych gate where we recreated a pose that Kaylies Mum and Dad had when they got married.
We then head to Bowden Hall, a Regency building set in beautiful rolling parkland on the edge of Gloucester. The guests had cocktails on the lawns and we took Kaylie and Richard off for half an hour to get some of our signature shots in front of the lake.
After some amazing food we set up our photo booth for the guests where they had great fun getting into a variety of poses for their polaroid shots. We especially loved Chat’s take on Biggles. Full marks and Chocks Away! Because we were also guests, myself and Tim took the opportunity to get a Polaroid of ourselves! Hooray! See if you can spot us.
This was a truly lovely wedding and we wish Richard and Kaylie lots of love and happiness for the future.
