Many moons ago  the film “Yanks” was made in Saddleworth (amongst many others such as “Brassed Off”) and there is now a great weekend vintage festival called “The Yanks are back In Saddleworth” every year now . It’s a great event. I was working this year but managed to get out for 10 minutes with my camera for Yanks Weekend. This is a very small taste of the atmosphere, so many people get dress in really authentic gear and there is so much going on. These images were takes literally a minute away from the studio. It was great to see and hear the Lancaster Bomber flying over the village. We managed a bit of a 50’s style boogie later on, which was nice.

Yanks Weekend 2014
