A beautiful Kent Wedding
As with all of weddings these days, Rich and Angela’s Mereworth Wines vineyard wedding was a very relaxed and friendly affair done just as they wanted it. Not hot how tradition dictates and all the better for it. It was also my second vineyard wedding in 2 weeks, the other being Charlotte and Adam at Holmfirth Vineyard. Subarus seem to be featuring in my weddings recently too, as a car photographer when I’m not shooting weddings, I’m not complaining about that either.
The morning prep and the ceremony
I can’t remember a more relaxed bride and groom in the run up to a wedding day. Angela and Rich literally just left me to it, to me that’s the best way, I have shot over 400 weddings so I’ve sort of got the hang of it now!
So that was it then, “see you at the house in the morning then at the ceremony at the lovely Oakwood house in Maidstone”!
Oakwood House has some picturesque grounds, so after the ceremony, which the registrar pretty much laughed all the way through (good on her), we went into the gardens and had a bit of a photo shoot.
By now it was pretty evident how the day would go, Angela and Rich are such warm lovely family oriented folk, it was such a great day for everyone who attended.
Mereworth Wines after party
Back at Mereworth Wines vineyard we were treated to a pizza and an ice cream van, how good is that.
We managed to get in a few more shots as the sun was setting, the party was well under way when I left later, not until I’d had a pizza though, they were pretty special 🙂
It was a real pleasure to be part of your day Angela and Rich. Hopefully our paths will cross again, probably at a racetrack somewhere.
