My ethos is to create an artful narrative of your wedding with sensitive documentation.
I pride myself on having the minimum impact on your day, to get the shots without taking up your precious time.
I can only be part of 20 wedding stories each year, I wish I could do more but I feel this is the amount I need to do to stay fresh and to give each couple the attention that they deserve. I really do my homework on what you want from your photography. I will visit the venue before each wedding and have some shots in mind already before we start. I see very wedding as a creative calibration. I fully encourage you have ideas about how the final images will look. I’m aware that most people (particularly the groom!) are not 1005 comfortable with posing in front of a camera. I think the key to great images are working within your ‘comfortable zone’, often this will mean using the surrounding landscape as part of the image. I’m really trying to create art, something you will want on your walls.LOVE LETTERS

Tim if this is just a teaser, we cannot wait for the rest! The first time I met you I knew you were the photographer I wanted to shoot my wedding someday! You are the most amazing people. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
WOW! These photos are INCREDIBLE! We are so excited to see the full array from the day now!
Thank you so much for photographing our wedding. It felt like we had two friends joining our celebration, and we really appreciated you coming over to Bakewell on different occasions to help with the prep.! Our families thought that you were both ace; you really ‘blended in’ and captured our nearest and dearest at their best: as themselves, naturally!
You had some brilliant ideas for different shots and clearly have a talent and artistic flair when it comes to photography. It’s clear that it’s more that just a job to you both.
Thanks again for these wonderful photos and also the blog. It’s a great little momento of the day from start to finish.
Tim photographed our wedding in May and he really captured the day. We chose Tim originally because we didn’t want ordinary, run of the mill wedding photography. We felt at ease with him as soon as we met and he couldn’t have been more on our wave length in terms of the type of photographs we wanted. On the day, we hardly knew he was there, but the photographs are ones which show that he very definitely was! They are close up, personal, funny, emotional and totally capture the essence of our very laid back wedding day. We spent some time alone with Tim in order to get some shots just of us and these have come out wonderfully – nothing staged, just us being a newly married couple. They are funny, quirky and romantic all at the same time. Perfect!I couldn’t recommend Tim more. He is great company and easy to get on with. He chatted to our guests, who have all been very complimentary about him, and made sure everyone was included in the photographs he took, meaning we have a great range of images. He took on board what we wanted and then added his own style to give us photographic memories that we will treasure forever. Thanks Tim – we look forward to coming over to the studio soon to decide which photographs to put in the album.
