It was always going to be a laugh!

I’ve lost track of when Carol and Liam first contacted me, it was pre Covid and due to that this Yorkshire wedding has had a few false starts. Despite this though I absolutely knew it was going to be a pleasure to be part of this relaxed couples wedding.

Don’t take my word for it, just look at the images, are there any when someone isn’t laughing or smiling?

I’ve said before that the feel of a wedding comes from the top down and this day was just fun. It may be a stereotype that Yorkshire folk are friendly but if this day is anything to go off it’s a stereotype well earned. I was made so welcome (including a bit of a deserved ribbing for my seemingly questionable taste in pants!) from that start and this is always reflected in the images, they just seem to come easy when there is no pressure or stress involved.

Hunstman Holmfirth wedding

The Huntsman is only a few miles from my studio and it’s a place I know well, the surrounding countryside in gods county is pretty special and wedding there are always a relaxed affair. It was good to be shooting weddings again without any form of restrictions at all and I’m glad I could produce a set of images like this for such a bloody great bride and groom, and these are just the tip of the iceberg!
