If you would like to chat over any aspect of your day please get in touch HERE. I have shot well over 200 weddings and won many top awards. Basically if you would like your day covered in an artistic way but with minimum impact to the natural flow of the wedding we may be able to work together.

Ed and Laura’s Wedding at St Herbert’s Chadderton and The Old Bill.

Laura and Ed chose us to be their wedding photographers after we were featured in the press for winning a national wedding photography award and we were really excited to be photographing their lovely wedding. They got married at St Herbert’s Church in Chadderton and as their romance blossomed at The Old Bill in Oldham where they worked together, they naturally  chose this as their venue for the wedding breakfast. Laura looked so pretty in her dress and veil and melted the heart of Ed who was waiting at the front of the Church. After the heart warming ceremony we headed over to the beautiful  Chadderton Park to take some relaxed informal shots against the backdrop of the hills and framed by the mature plane trees.

We headed back to The Old Bill which is a fantastic and friendly venue in Oldham which not only hosts weddings but also has a cool Jazz bar in the cellars below.  We all ate like Kings and Queens thanks to Paulo and his amazing staff who worked wonders in the searing heat. We clocked 33 degrees at one point! It is a sign of the generosity and thoughtfulness of the couple that they had chosen to give cards with Dr Kershaw’s Hospice lottery tickets as favours. We were very touched by the idea of the money going to such a great cause.
As this was a town wedding, there was chance to make use of the grand Victorian architecture for some bold and dramatic shots. Oldham town Hall is an amazing building which caught our eye and is the backdrop for the first shot. We then use a bold butterfly poster that was outside the art gallery to create alternative shots. The blue of the butterfly really sets off Laura’s eyes nicely we think. What a fabulous wedding with a lovely couple, we wish them good luck for a very happy life together!
