Quite a lot of Laurie and Guy’s guests had come over from Ireland for the wedding and to say they had the craic would be an understatement. Laurie and Guy’s reception was in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire at Guy’s fathers stud farm, it was set out wonderfully with straw bales and some lovely marquees.
In the age of the internet and blogging the words ‘unique’ and ‘amazing’ are perhaps being overused but we would like to think that in this instance they are justified. Laure and Guy, Guy Easterby former Irish rugby League player and Leinster manager, asked us to do a light painting photo booth and this is where the unique part comes in. This has never been done at a wedding anywhere in the world. We take a large ‘dark tent’ to the venue and ask people to come inside and create patterns with torches etc whilst their friend strike a Photo Booth style pose. We have done this at the Big Chill festival and Manchester Art Gallery amongst others but never at a wedding. The guests had a ball. On the night we were running 2 Photo Booths at the same time. Myself in the tent and Amanda outside having lots of fun with the vintage props.
