A couple of weeks ago we found ourselves back in the City Centre of Manchester for an awesome wedding at Manchester Town Hall and then onto the Albert Square Chop House! We are so lucky to be doing so many weddings in Manchester this year, it’s such a fab place for photos, and the couple we shot this time- Bernie & Mark- were just so lovely and great to be around so we knew we were in for a great day. We began the day by photographing Bernie in the morning at The Radisson Blu where she stayed the night before (the same building that used to be the Free Trade Hall), where it was all calm and collected. When Bernie’s gorgeous little flower girl (& Daughter) joined us all still remained calm and it was clear from this moment that Bernie just may be having to share the lime light! Her dress was a stunning 1940s vintage dress from Vintage Lane Bridal Boutique, her beautiful make-up done by Hayley Flaherty and her hair done by Emma Gore (contact info for both available on request).
After a brief stroll over to the Town Hall for the ceremony, Bernie still remained calm. The ceremony room in the Town Hall still impresses us, no matter how many times we photograph in there. It’s just so grand (well, the whole building is!). We took some fab couples photos in and around the Town Hall and the streets of Manchester which have captured the laid back attitude of Bernie and Mark and also portrayed their close bond and super-strong friendship. They are clearly made for each other and it was just a pleasure to share their day with them! All the guests were really warm and welcoming too which made us feel right at home. The cake was made by Bernie’s friend Helen Tomlinson: Cakes by Helen (contact details available by request) and what a fab cake it was!
Whilst taking the couple shots, we snook in to Corbieres bar for a wedding shoot with a difference- this is the place that the pair used to hang out with their friends so we thought this was a really nice touch. After our little wander, the couple joined their guests at the Chop House for some lovely food and a good knees-up! Thanks for a really lovely day Bernie & Mark, & CONGRATULATIONS!!
