Rachel & Stu’s Wedding at Hyde Bank Farm, Romiley

We recently had the pleasure of shooting a wedding that had an influence of 1950s rock n’ roll style at Hyde Bank Farm in Romiley for a lovely couple- Rachel & Stu. In the morning we began by going over to the venue to have a nosey at the décor and to familiarise ourselves with the beautiful settings. The Farm had the perfect combination of rustic charm and beautiful grounds making it the ideal setting for a couple like Rachel & Stu to get married. The play area inside one of the barns was so good for the kids and a really fun space to get some super shots of them enjoying the wedding.
The décor had a very home-made and bohemian feel and was great to photograph. The cake in particular caught our attention (and the guests’ too so it seemed!) as it was very unusual for a wedding cake and it looked completely delicious.
We found the bagpiper who welcomed the guests to Hyde Bank Farm (a lovely surprised organised by Rachel for her hubby to be) to be a really nice touch.

Rachel looked gorgeous in her wedding frock and as the sun started to shine we took her and Stu off round the corner to one of the surrounding fields to take some couple photos where they were great sports and really got stuck in to doing some fun and cutesy poses. The bridesmaids looked very ‘rock n’ roll’ in their 50s style get up completed by their slick of red lipstick which really set their look off and matched with the brides 50s style make up, making for a very glamorous bunch.

We had a fab day and wish Rach and Stu all the best for the future and a very big ‘Congratulations’!
