Simon and Charlotte’s Vintage Teepee Wedding in Sheffield

Simon and Charlotte wedding in Penistone, SouthYorkshire really had everything (perhaps too much in the rain department). The venue was  a great Teepee and the St John’s Church was decked out in bunting which really looked the part. The vicar was lovely  and he let us go anywhere during the ceremony which is great.

The guests arrived for the ceremony in a vintage Sheffield bus which really looked the part parked outside the Church.

Back at Charlottes parents lovely home we photograpohed all the detail shots and Charlotte getting ready in her fantastic vintage dress. we then set off and managed to beat the bus to the venue to photograph the passengers unloading.

After the ceremony it was back to the Teepee, Charlotte and Simon left in their shiny blue 911 and went the long way round to let the bus arrive first. The Teepee was decorated in vintage style (Charlotte has a vintage shop in The Forum, Sheffield) and look amazing. Whilst the guests had drinks we took the opportunity to have some time with Bride and Groom on their own shoot some creative portraits of them, I love this part of the day it’s always great to see the Bride and Groom totally relax.

After the wedding breakfast it was time for  some great speeches, especially Simon’s best man who brought the tent down with some unique drawings allegedly made by Simon. Then onto the band and the dancing. The guest were making full use of the fire in the chill out area of the tent and we quickly ran out side and took some more photo’s when we spotted a rainbow which certainly was a fitting end to a unique day.
