St Johns Hotel in Manchester is a wonderfully quirky venue for a wedding and you can get some great photographs. Its an old school, so there is a headmasters office – best avoided!

On the roof top you get a great view of Manchester and the old Granada studios if you have time for a bit of star spotting. The hotel itself is often frequented by the stars when it is not being used for weddings.
