Now that the wedding season has calmed down a little, we have been keeping ourselves just as busy with lots of ideas for shoots and collaborations with other creative industries. One recent example of this is a bridal fashion campaign shoot we organised a few weeks back- a chance to really push our creativity to the limits. As we always say, we see ourselves as artists and these organised shoots really vie us the time to show what we can do when we’re not working to the time constraints of a wedding and when the planning and creative direction is solely ours!
We combined a few looks to get a range and variety of images from the shoot to suit all the different collaborators we worked with. We did quite a lot of shots outside in the beautiful countryside of Saddleworth, literally right behind our studio & gallery (how handy!). We then headed to the studio to get some more editorial style shots with a plain background to really focus on the styling. As I’m sure you’ll notice, there is a certain image amongst the bunch that we thought we’d have a little fun with- it’s rather provocative for a bridal shoot and shows Ellie, legs akimbo, in a short wedding dress sitting backwards on a vintage Church chair! We are so pleased with the results and are currently planning a Bridesmaid editorial to accompany this shoot!
Of course we can’t take credit for the whole thing. We collaborated with many other amazing artists and designers:
