A Fun & Friendly Wedding at Wyresdale Park – Dave & David

Some wedding days just have that something special — the kind of energy where everyone feels at ease, and the whole day flows beautifully. Dave and David’s wedding at the stunning Wyresdale Park in Lancashire was exactly that kind of day. Fun, friendly, emotional, and full of personality from start to finish.

As a wedding photographer, I’ve been lucky enough to shoot in some incredible venues, but Wyresdale Park really stands out. It’s not just visually beautiful (though it really is!) — it’s also one of the most relaxed, welcoming places I’ve ever worked. That warmth was matched perfectly by Dave and David themselves and all their lovely guests.

Letting Me “Do My Thing”

One of the best things about working with Dave and David was the total trust they placed in me. Right from the beginning, they said, “Tim, we want you to just do your thing.”

As a creative, that kind of freedom is golden. It means I can fully immerse myself in the day, observe the moments as they unfold, and capture everything authentically — no pressure, no strict shot lists, just real, meaningful photography.

I’m super proud of how the images turned out I think they reflect just what a joyous special day it was.

Dave and David’s wedding was a true celebration of love, friendship, and individuality. Every detail was thought through but never felt over-styled or stiff. The vibe was effortlessly cool — think rustic charm meets modern love, all set against the backdrop of Wyresdale’s beautifully restored barns, rolling green spaces and that fabulous lake.

Their guests were brilliant too — welcoming, up for a laugh, and clearly so happy to see two amazing people tie the knot.

Final Thoughts

To Dave and David — thank you for letting me be part of such a joyful day. Your trust, your energy, and your obvious love for one another made it an absolute pleasure. I hope these photos bring you as much joy as your wedding day brought to everyone there.
