Esther and Lawrence’s Wedding at Carlton Terrace and The Longroom, London

We recently shot an uber-fantastic wedding at Carlton House Terrace, followed by the reception at the very cool Longroom in the big city for a wonderful couple named Esther & Lawrence.  we had an absolute ball shooting in central London. Firstly, Carlton House Terrace was such a beautiful and grand venue, like something straight from a fairytale. The high ceilings and ornate decor was so charming that we couldn’t help but fall in love with the place. Despite it’s grandeur, the ceremony remained rather intimate and fairly light-hearted, but meaningful- you could definitely feel the love in the room!

When Esther first walked out in her amazing vintage style lace dress, she brought tears to even our eyes! She looked incredible, so ethereal and elegant. Lawrence also looked super dapper in his lovely grey suit- . The pair looked perfect together. The two had arranged for a big traditional red bus to take the guests from the ceremony to the reception. There were a few bumps on the way as the bus hesitated to start, however all the guests saw the funny side of this and it added to the excitement of the day!

At the Longroom, we couldn’t help but go a little photo-mad on the decor. The room was beautifully dressed. It was a traditional, kind of gritty looking bar (which is cool in itself) and the lovely folk who dressed the room added touches of rustic charm and romance with beautiful flowers (and lots of them!), colourful hanging decorations, and plenty of other lovely little details which made the room look a dream. We set up our PhotoBooth at the back of the room, in front of a white painted brick wall which looked perfect for the booth. The guests got stuck right in and everyone had such a laugh, even us! Tim & Amanda were northern soul dancing to the exceptional music that was being played (they obviously had exquisite music taste like us 😉 ) and some of the guests were joining in with them too!

We have to mention the amazingly friendly attitude of Ether’s family and friends. They were all so warm and welcoming, we really felt like a part of their family. Because of this relaxed atmosphere, we managed to get some gorgeous shots and capture some wonderful memories for Esther & Lawrence (& their friends and family!) to cherish. Also worth a mention is the lovely staff at The Longroom, they made sure we were well looked after which was much appreciated. We even got a place at the sit down meal- favours n’all!

So, we would like to wish Esther and Lawrence all the very best for their future together and CONGRATULATIONS!! We hope you enjoy the photos as much as we do!
