Hannah and Danny got married at the magnificent Leeds City Hall. They had decided to have a 50’s inspired Vintage wedding and encouraged all guests to come similarly attired.
The setting of the stunning baroque and classical architecture was a great back drop for our photography and we encouraged relaxed and fun poses. The day was rather cold, so we had to work pretty fast! However everyone recognised the importance of suffering for art and was up for a bit of shivering to get some good shots. We really thank the bridesmaids and couple for this and the energy from the twirling shots to show off the sexy skirts hopefully warmed things up.
A particular favourite of ours is the juxtapostion of the statuesque towering and stately architecture with the softness, glamour and movement of Hannah and her bridesmaids. This was taken with our Nikon D800, which is a studio and architecture camera, so this image can be enlarged greatly without loss of detail. Actually we love loads of these images.
The evening speeches featured friends and family as well as Gary Lineker and Cheryl Baker. Hey everyone has famous people for their speeches don’t they!
Later we brought out our props for the Vintage PhotoBooth. Everyone was amazing and really seemed to enjoy creating new and novel poses. They printed off the polaroid images for Hannah’s guest book.
Good luck Hannah and Danny and best wishes for the future from Tim and Amanda!
