Ben and Gina at St Chad’s, Saddleworth and The Huntsman at Holmfirth

Ben and Gina got married at our local Church at St Chads in Uppermill. The day started with a little rain, but fortunately cleared to give a gorgeous sunny day. Gina got ready at her Mum’s house in Mossley. She was extremely relaxed and there was a lovely warm feeling that lasted throughout the day. She was surrounded by bridesmaids and very loved and delightful border collies. Gina looked gorgeous in her dress, which had lovely beaded detail across the top panel. Her hair was beautifully styled in relaxed ringlets and set off with a delicate tiara and veil. Ben and Gina had asked for some images with a backdrop of hills and trees, so we stopped off at Binn Green in Greenfield to get lots of images in a stunning location overlooking Dovestones Resevoir. Gina was happy to walk across the grass in her dress to get the shots. Ben and the men were at the Church Inn having a drink to calm the nerves. The ceremony was a lovely affair and it is obvious that the couple are held in high regard by all that know them. Afterwards they were showered with gorgeous rose petals from a wicker basket – we love these confetti shots! Everyone moved to the Huntsman, high on the moors before Holmfirth for the rest of the day, which was lovely and full of laughter. There were lovely details including signed vintage luggage tags and cute post box complete with the happy couple and, of course their collie. Ben and Gina’s first dance was great with Ben showing some great moves, which went down really well and the dance floor immediately filled up. This was a lovely wedding with lots of smiling and warmth.

We wish Ben and Gina our very best for their future together.
