Its clear to see why Lucie and Loran choose Pelham House hotel for their wedding. Its a lovely Georgian House set in beautiful grounds containing contemporary sculpture, and a very stylish and relaxed place.
We met up with Lucy on a beautiful cloudless day at her house which was in walking distance of Pelham Hotel to take getting ready shots. There was lots of activity, with the bridesmaids playing the piano in the room below.Tim left to go to the venue to photograph guests arriving and Loran waiting, while Amanda stayed to get more shots of Loran with her bridesmaids and family.
The ceremony consisted of 2 parts. The first was performed by the registrars, whilst the second part was multi faith, which was lovely and really interesting. The ceremony also consisted of beautiful music and readings whilst the light poured in throughout the Georgian windows to the length of the room.
The couple and guests moved out to the garden where we took some photographs outside, with the Wisteria festooned house as the backdrop. Gorgeous!
After the speeches there was a rendition of We are family, and they were later joined by a gospel choir which went down really well.
