Loveday and Dan’s Cheshire Orchard Wedding
We knew that Loveday & Dan’s country wedding in Cheshire was going to be just gorgeous straight from the off. We had previously photographed a family portrait for this lovely lot as well as Loveday & Dan’s engagement shoot, where the strong connection between them both was so obvious and there was a lot of love surrounding these shoots and also the whole wedding day.
We first of all started off by going over to the reception venue which was at Loveday’s family’s Orchard! You can only imagine how beautiful this place was (well, until you see the photos!). It was the most perfect place for a wedding. The family and friends had been hard at work preparing the Marquee for around a week we believe! This was also the same place where we did the engagement shoot, so we were familiar with the area- though it did look a lot different with the gorgeous wedding marquee in place. The orchard is the home of the family herb business,
RPG Herbs, and the decor inside the marquee certainly reflected this. We thought that the herbs in the teacups were such a lovely little touch.
We then went on to photographing Loveday and the bridal party getting ready at the beautiful
Alderly Edge hotel where there was a slight air of nerves but also of excitement and anticipation. It was very peaceful in the room and everyone was very calm and collected. There was also a steady stream of family members joining the bridal party throughout the morning, including the page boy who was super-cool and looked awesome in his suit. There were a lot of Loom Bands knocking about that morning!
After Loveday’s hair and make-up was complete, it was then into her amazing dress- a fitted strapless number with a sweetheart neckline and lace detailing. She looked so stunning! The bridesmaids and the rest of the bridal party also scrubbed up well and collectively made a gorgeous group.
We then went onto Siddington church (the cutest little church we have ever seen!) for the ceremony. It was packed out with the pair’s family and friends and it was clear that they were a popular couple from said packed out seats. The ceremony was lovely and it was so nice to see that connection between Loveday & Dan again. They both just lit up when they saw each other.
After a little hiccup with tieing the cans to the wedding car, we headed back to the Orchard. The weather was a little wet but this didn’t stop the fun at all. The lawn games still went ahead and Bo, the gorgeous pug puppy also came out to play from his bombshed bunker! It was then that the guests and the newlyweds had some lovely cakes and food, speeches were made, live music played and some serious partying unfolded.
We had a blast at Dan & Loveday’s wedding, and the strong family bond between everyone there was so nice to see.
Thanks to the pair for having us and we wish them the best for the future and a huge congratulations!
