Basically if you would like your day covered in an artistic way but with minimum impact to the natural flow of the wedding we may be able to work together.

Maria & Stan’s Village Fete Wedding at D-Day Memorial Hall, Southwick

The setting for Maria & Stan’s wonderful Village Fete style wedding was picture perfect. They were married in St James without the priory gate which is an amazingly beautiful ancient church with plenty of original features to feast your eyes on. The village which housed the church was full of thatched cottages and old gorgeous buildings- it looked like something off a film set! The sun was shining and was definitely on our side.

Maria and Stan are certainly up there when it comes to super cool couples. They are so warm and laid back- as were their guests. In particular, Maria’s sister Claire made us feel very welcome and looked after us which was absolutely lovely of her. When it came to the evening venue (the D-day memorial Hall), it certainly matched the couple to a tee- quirky and bundles of fun. There was a deck chair circle, hay bales for guests to sit on, bunting and a beautiful High Tea presented on lovely cake stands. To break the day up after the high tea there were Summer Fete style activities including egg & spoon race, skipping race, three-legged race and many other competitive activities in which the guests got stuck right in and many laughs were shared (with some fab photos as a result!). The winning teams were awarded with medals which all the winners seemed to be very proud of.

For the evening entertainment, there was an amazing band doing covers of some real classic soul and feel good tunes– we particularly liked their version of Jocelyn Brown’s ‘Somebody else’s guy’!  The music that they had playing throughout the day included some awesome stuff- our favourites being the likes of Joni Mitchell and Booker T & the M.Gs. It was an absolute pleasure photographing their day!

We definitely had a whale of a time at Maria & Stan’s wedding, as did all the guests and we wish them both the very best for the future.

Oh, and a HUGE Congratulations!

A wonderful collection of photo’s that entirely captures the look and feel of our special day.

Tim’s style made the photo taking element of the day a joy rather than a ‘must do’. He has given us some fantastic memories of an event we will never forget.

A huge thank you from Mr and Mrs Mcleod. x
