Last week we returned to the wonderful Inn at Whitewell and lucky for us Nat and Victorias wedding is the first of many there this year.
We feel we had got to know this great couple quite well since they booked us to take care of their wedding, we share a similar outlook to life and how we see the photography for the day so we really knew we would produce some great images..
Victoria, her family and bridesmaids were getting at The Piggeries which is a wonderful building in-between the Inn and St Michaels church. Everyone was in great humour and really enjoying themselves. There were lots of lovely details to photograph in The Piggeries as we made our way round, spending particular attention to Vic’s georgeous Lusan Mandongus figure hugging dress.
Leaving Amanda with Vic, Tim met up with Nathan and his party getting ready at the Inn. Nathan is a Fireman and Vic is a nurse we had planned to have some fun with this later on both whilst capturing the wedding photography and in the Photo Booth.
St Michaels Church next to the Inn at Whitewell is a lovely little church. The Vicar is great and appreciates the need for good images, he knows us nows its nice to be trusted to go wherever we want in the church as he knows we will respect the ceremony.
The ceremony its self was lovely and at one point even the choir joined in with a joke from the vicar.
After the ceremony we all took some time to take some of our signature styled images with Vic and Nat. It was raining quite hard by then but as usual we used this to create some reflections , use umbrellas and we did some great silhouettes looking out from The Piggaries. Theres no such thing as bad weather when your shooting a wedding, Nat and Vic were great fun and weren’t scared of getting a bit damp, this really shows in the images. Wedding images and the feel of a wedding always come from the top down, thats why these images are lovely warm photos with a touch of humour.
Nat had 2 best men and they both made sure there were lots of embarrassing moments brought back from the past during the speeches and with lots of Firemen present we think Nat might be reliving these stories for some time to come weather he likes it or not!
As you would expect with a crowd like this the Photo Booth went off, well shall we say “like a house on fire” . It was also Tim’s birthday and Nat and Vic had put on the wedding itinerary to wish him Happy Birthday , he had not had more Birthday wishes since he was 11 years old!
What a brilliant wedding this was it certainly was one we will never forget and you really couldn’t wish to meet two better people.
Hi Tim & Amanda
Well, I didn’t cry on the day but just looked at these and cried buckets! They are wonderful, well done and thank you!
All the best
Caroline
Dear Tim & Amanda, as expected the pictures are brilliant! We put our trust in you both and gave you free reign and it has definitely paid off. It was a pleasure having you both at our day, you felt more like guests and we never even noticed you taking photographs! We aren’t naturals in front of the camera but you put us both at ease and made sure we weren’t away from our guests for too long, which was a big thing for us both. As for the photo-booth to say it went down well is an understatement! We have had many compliments by guests on how nice you both are, and we will definitely be keeping in touch and working with you both again in the future.
