Pierre and Jo had a very intimate wedding at Mitton Hall, a lovely 15thc manor house set in its own grounds in the rolling countryside of the Ribble Valley. I met Jo at the Hall and took some pictures of the dress where it was hanging over the four poster bed. Jo looked lovely in her lace dress which had very pretty lilac ribbon flower details. After the ceremony we headed into the grounds and found a nice Lutyens bench framed by mature beech hedging for some romantic shots. I took the opportunity to get some natural walking images as we walked through the grounds.
The rest of the day I mingled with the family in the afternoon sun for some reportage photographs. Some of Pierres’s side of the family came over from France, I guess there was lots of catching up.
They didn’t require me for the speeches, so I captured the grand table that had been beautifully laid out, with a centre piece line of hydrangeas, gypsophilia and roses that looked absolutely gorgeous.
Thanks to Pierre and Jo for letting me photograph their very chic wedding. Many congratulations to you both!
