Lineham Farm in Yorkshire is a new wedding venue for us and what a fabulous one it is too. Becky and Tom are real animal lovers so to have their wedding at Lineham Farm surrounded by animals made perfect sense really.
The animal theme and this couples caring nature cropped up many times throughout this lovely wedding, we just love this first image of them with the goats at the farm.
Our day started with the wedding preparations with Bekka at Becky’s Mums house with the girls and me at Lineham Farm with the boys, we then convened at St Oswalds in Guiseley. It was a lovely service made all the better for some live music provided by one of the groomsmen and the fact that the Reverend was a brilliant fella. He was warm, welcoming and his service was really lovely. Some clergy it has to be said seem to have quite a negative view of photographers, it sort of understandable, I’m sure they all have some nightmare tails about unprofessional behaviour from uncaring photographers. Not here though he definitely added to what was an unforgettable day.
Up to us all entering the Church the day it has to be said was pretty lousy weather wise, a typical British summer day i.e it was raining very hard! On our way out though the weather managed to break for us to get some nice shots outside the St Oswald’s and then back at Lineham Farm we sneaked off with Becky and Tom into the forest and had a lovely half hour with them. Personally speaking its great for me to have Bekka with me as she has a fashion styling degree, this really helps this part of the day along, just to have that extra creative eye really elevates the photos. Tom and Becky did a great job too, it was a good team effort.
Tom and Becky too have a creative side to them which was very evident in how the farm had been decorated, ever since Becky said “I do” they have been making Origami Cranes as decorations, they were EVERYWHERE and boy did id it look good. This just shows you what a little imagination can achieve. The bouquet and flowers too were made of paper, its things like this that really elevate the feel of a wedding and give it a special touch.
After the meal it was music time with Tom’s band playing later on but first the party was started by the most amazing brass band, the place was hopping when we left, it really was. They say the sun shines on the righteous and this was clearly the case for this lovely couple just check out the double rainbow, the perfect end to an amazing day.
A huge congratulations to both of you from both of us, this was a day that nobody will forget in a hurry.
