The Peckforton Manor Wedding of Amy and Mark

As you pass  through the gatehouse to Peckforton Castle and make your way through the forest you suspect you are in a pretty special place for some creative wedding photography, then make your way through the portcullis and these suspicions are well and truly confirmed. Peckforton Castle really is a stunning place for a wedding, you can just imagine the first time Amy and Mark walked through the portcullis when on on the hunt for the perfect wedding venue probably thinking “well the search is over”.

Wedding Photography at Peckforton Manor

From a photographers point of view a wedding at Peckforton Castle has everything, its a real playground, with centuries of tradition and a gorgeously appointed interior. Then there is the forest with lots of lovely overgrown pathways to discover. Some brides may have been slightly reluctant to get into the heart of the forest for the photos but not Amy, she really relished it and I hope you can see that this really paid off in style.

Peckforton Manor Wedding

From the ceremony through the blessing and on into the evenings dancing it was clear that Amy and Mark are just perfect for each other, throughout my meetings with Amy the way she talked about Mark it was clear to see she had huge affection for him and throughout the day it was obvious that he adored her, it was lovely to see. I always like to get to get to know my bride and grooms a little first and find out what style of photography they like and if we can weave their personalities into the finished images. So I guess from looking at the first image its pretty easy to see that Mark is a big Star Wars fan, he even got the Millennium Falcon to turn up on the day, amazing!

Mark and Amy are a lovely warm likeable couple and I’ve said many times that the feel of a wedding comes from the top down so as you can imagine for the friends and family who attended this wedding it will live happily in their memories for many years to come.

That’s enough from me I hope you like liking through these images and I hope I’ve managed to capture some of the magic of this pretty special day.
