HEY THERE | welcome

Hope you like what you see so far, in the gallery to my right you will see some of my work, highlights from some of the amazing days I have had the priviledge of collaborationg on. Please click on my BLOG to lots more images from my recent weddings. I only shoot 6 weddings a year to ensure that the creativity and quality is always there. If you would like to chat over any aspect of your day please get in touch HERE. I have shot well over 200 weddings and won many top awards. Basically if you would like your day covered in an artistic way but with minimum impact to the natural flow of the wedding we may be able to work together.

Xenia and Jake are getting married at the brilliant Standedge Tunnel and Visitor Centre so we though it might be nice to do a pre shoot there too. It’s only a few miles from my house so I know the area well. Simon Armitage’s Stanza stones are right next to the visitor centre and they are set in a magical place so I though it would be nice to do part off the shoot there too.

I’m glad Jake and Xenia are the adventurous type as the Stanza stones are up quite a hill and it was muddy and bloody freezing, they were pros though and apart from the chattering teeth you couldn’t tell that they were cold.

This was also the first opportunity I had to use my new drone, the Mavic Pro 2 with Hasselblad camera, its an amazing bit of kit. I had a drone about 6 years ago and after I had used it 3 times it flew off, never to be seen again, well at least by me! I swore a LOT that day whilst waving bye bye to £1600+.

Xenia and Jake absolutely smashed this shoot, they were great. I don’t do an awkward posing when I shoot my couples, when you have amazing countryside to use my view is that you use that as much as you can. Over the years I have discovered that people do not want loads of close up photographs of themselves, they want art with them in it, hopefully that’s what we have achieved between us here. Im really pleased with and there are loads more too, its amazing what you can achieve in an hour when everyone is onboard with what you are doing.

HERE is a short but amazing clip from my first portrait session at Standedge Tunnel Visitor Centre. The below image is the final frame from the video. As you can see this is such a great place for wedding photos, the venue is the one with the large red door. I have Paul and Trace’s wedding there in July, I can’t wait, they are such a cool couple, their shots are going to be amazing, I can feel it in my bones, or am I still cold from this shoot.

I absolutely love this blog just as much as me & my partner Jake loved doing the shoot with Tim. He really is the best! We were so relaxed and chilled throughout and did not feel at any point awkward, as much as photo shoots can be in some cases! The photos have come out even better than imagined! They really are a work of art. Something we definitely will be putting on our walls around our home. Thank you Tim!
