We’d already done a studio shoot previous to the wedding with Amy, who is so glamorous, awesome and rock and roll  we just knew that her wedding day would reflect this. We noticed a definite pin-up and vintage style to her wedding, and even a bit of burlesque in the mix too! The day was so full of laughs and fun, we felt like we were there as friends more so than as hired photographers. Dave & Amy have been together for a few years, so the bond between them was so obvious and strong and amazing to photograph! They had no problems going along with some of our crazy ideas 😉

Amy’s dress just oozed vintage style and the bridesmaids and mini-bridesmaids looked super cute to in their purple numbers. we had loads of fun photographing them all, the Residence Bar was just right for Amy’s style of wedding, it was really relaxed, the decor was fab and there was a huge garden at the back where the guests enjoyed their barbecue and the kids ran themselves crazy. There was also a picturesque nearby park with a river that we took advantage of to do our couples portraits.

A retro bus picked us all up to take us to the venue which was a fab experience. In fact, the whole day was full of quirky little details such as the flower girls’ boquets and headbands, the stripe ribbons on the chairs and the amazing cake…. can’t forget about that cake!! One of the most creative and impressive we’ve ever seen and more impressive still that it was made by Amy’s Boss.
