Last weekend we photographed the much anticipated wedding of Aneta & Chris at St Hubert’s Roman Catholic Church and reception at the very quirky, Michelin Star Inn at Whitewell. They are such a warm and friendly couple, as are there family and friends and we had such fun photographing their day!
The ceremony was a really beautiful and meaningful Catholic ceremony and was even more enjoyable by the laid back priest. The church was beautiful, both the interior and exterior and was the perfect setting for such a beautiful wedding. After the ceremony and confetti shots (or should I say, confetti attacks?!), we snook round the back of the church for some sneaky shots of the couple in the beautiful woodland. We love a good woodland wedding, quite a rarity in northern England! So it was great to be outside in the gorgeous natural surroundings. We then headed off to the Inn at Whitewell for some shots on the stepping stones where Tim rolled up his trouser legs and got right in the river…. always living life on the edge that one!
Chris and Aneta really got involved with the couples portrait shots which was great to see, as they helped us to get some magical shots that will act as reminders of the fun that was had on their day. There were lots of tears and laughter throughout the wedding and it was so clear the close bond shared by the families. The marquee was set out beautifully with romantic wildflower arrangements incorporating roses and personal touches such as a Golf cake (made for avid golfer Chris we’re guessing!?) and miniature bottles of Gin, amongst other super-cute touches.
The speeches were another really lovely moment of the day, followed by a beautiful meal, a crazy Photo Booth and some awesome dancing. Thanks so much for sharing your journey with us Aneta & Chris! We hope you have a fab honeymoon and a HUGE congratulations to you both.
