Photographing a wedding at The Inn at Whitewell is always a pleasure. The Inn is such a great place, it is slightly on the quirky side and we think this attracts a certain kind of person. So we are so glad that those certain kind of people like Jessica and Nick chose us. It was such a relaxed stylish affair, driven it has to be said by Jessica’s creativity.
We love it the most when we are left just to simply capture the events as they unfold, in our eyes it always makes for such lovely wedding images, we will I guess though let you be the judge of that!
Bridal preparation is always a lovely intimate part of the day, it has to be said though that sometimes it can be a little, let’s say ‘nervy’! There was none of this with Jessica, she was ultra relaxed and definitely a sign of things to come and that dress, wow Jessica looked totally amazing. Nick scrubbed up well too in his made to measure blue suit, they looked just great together, the perfect couple.
Jessica and Nicks wedding was a small personal family affair but the details had certainly not been forgotten, the flowers for instance looked absolutely amazing. The good people at Flower Design Events had done a truly great job at putting Jessica’s vision into reality both in the church and back at the Inn.
St Michaels is so incredibly handy for the weddings at The Inn at Whitewell, it’s right next door. The Church and the Inn often evolved together in old towns like this, in fact in Whitewell , apart from houses and farms, they just about make up the whole village, a good symbiotic relationship!
Most people we meet say that they don’t like having their picture taken, we are well used to this now and we know when the time comes couples are on such a high from the day they forget about any preconceived ideas they may have about being photographed and jump right in with both feet. Jessica and Nick were no exception to this and were coming up with lots of ideas of their own, something we positively encourage, well why wouldn’t we if the finished product is images like these.
