It was clear right from the start of Bethan & Matthew’s reportage wedding was going to be a very welcoming and family orientated. When we arrived at the house to capture some getting ready shots of the lovely bride and her bridal party, the strong family bond was evident between them all. The rooms of the house were filled with warm laughter and many ‘cheers’ were had as the champagne was poured.
When Bethan got into her beautiful dress, she looked truly stunning and emotions were running high (a reoccurring theme throughout the day as many tears of joy were shared). It was obvious that Bethan and Matthew are an extremely popular couple by the amount of faces filling up the rows in the beautiful, ornate church.
Even the wind and rain couldn’t stop this wedding from being an extremely joyful occasion, and boy was it windy! Bethan and Matthew were nearly being blown away outside the church but both fully embraced this (as did the guests!) whilst we took the opportunity to take some photos outside the church.
Then it was onto The White Hart for the reception which had been gorgeously decorated by none other than the groom and the groomsmen- you did a fab job boys we were impressed! There was a very warm feeling in the reception room with rustic decor and bunting adorning the light airy room.
We also managed to whisk the couple away for a little while for some more styled romantic wedding portraits and shots whilst the rain subsided for a short while.
We felt very welcomed by all the friends and family of Bethan & Matthew and would like to thank everyone for making the day full of fun and laughter, our favourite kinds of weddings to shoot.
A huge congratulations to Bethan and Matthew, we hope you had a blast like we did
