HEY THERE | welcome

Hope you like what you see so far, in the gallery to my right you will see some of my work, highlights from some of the amazing days I have had the priviledge of collaborationg on. Please click on my BLOG to lots more images from my recent weddings. I only shoot 6 weddings a year to ensure that the creativity and quality is always there. If you would like to chat over any aspect of your day please get in touch HERE. I have shot well over 200 weddings and won many top awards. Basically if you would like your day covered in an artistic way but with minimum impact to the natural flow of the wedding we may be able to work together.

Francesca and Dominic’s Sunny Wedding at The Old Bridge Inn and The Venue, West Yorkshire.

Looking back at Dominic and Francesca’s lovely wedding photographs from their stylish wedding in Ripponden, West Yorkshire it’s hard to understand just how much they packed into one day and still managed to make everything super relaxed. It’s funny how weddings can have a ‘personality’ or a I guess you would call it a ‘feeling’. I think it comes from the top down so this wedding was always going to be a relaxed, warm and stylish affair. Francesca and Dominic had put so much effort into the preparation. Its easy to think it all just happened quite naturally when the day flows like this, but like all great things it takes a lot of planning.  Every wedding should also have a Carly (whose wedding we have the pleasure of shooting in Dec) to make sure everything runs like a greased wheel.

It’s lucky that Francesca and Dom’s beautiful new house has lots of rooms. There seemed to be a bridesmaid in every one of them when we got there in the morning. Whilst Francesca sat calmly and had her make up applied I photographed her, whilst Amanda photographed the dress and shoes etc. We soon had some lovely photographs and left to photograph the Dominic and the guests arriving at St Bartholomew’s Church in Ripponden.

The service was lovely and we got some great shots. After the ceremony there was a dove release, this was a surprise to all including Francesca and Dominic and went down really well. The birds were so beautiful.

The Old Bridge Inn, Ripponden is right next to the church, I guess thats how things worked back in the day. So it was very British Pimms  and Champagne and extremely tasty nibbles outside in the sun, accompanied, by a 4 piece string quartet who played some great tunes. I remember Bowie’s Heroes being played after the ceremony. This is a fantastic characterful pub and if you are ever in the area its well worth a visit. I know we will be back.

After merrily snapping away out side the Old Bridge everyone left for ‘The Venue’ in Sowerby Bridge. We had not been here before, the food was excellent as was the entertainment with a great singer keeping everyone entertained through the wedding breakfast. It’s here we did some light painting with the bride and groom, I love doing this at weddings the looks on peoples face as they see what we have just created is priceless.

We left with the party in full swing, Robbie Williams was on stage I think, yes he was, –  I’m not dreaming it, I think.

Very best wishes to Francesca and Dominic form Tim and Amanda X
