We are quite lucky here at Simpson Towers to have a great wedding venue like Crow Hill on our doorstep. We are even more lucky to have Harriet and Jamie there to photograph. We already knew they were a top couple but what became even more evident throughout the day is they are just made for each other, two peas in a pod. The first sign of this is that they had both bought each other the same card to be opened on the morning of the wedding, what are the chances? Synchronicity, we think so.
We met Harriet in the morning in the bridal room, it was loads of fun with all the sisters and a really relaxed atmosphere. Harriet looks gorgeous to start off with and it doesn’t take us to tell you just how fab she looked in her beautiful figure hugging lace wedding dress from Blush Bridal, Jamie scrubbed up pretty well too!
Outside the the guests were congregating and listening to The Wellington Street Stompers in the sun. They certainly got the party stared early with their mix of jazz influenced feel good music.
The ceremony was really nice, a particular highlight everybody belting out “It must be love” the upbeat Madness classic.
It was then back outside for more dancing, drinking, confetti throwing and bouquet tossing, its shame to throw such a lovely bouquet, supplied by Eden Flowers, but it was worth it fork the photos. Whats not to like in such a perfect setting.
Afterwards we headed out to the pretty the grounds to do our signature styled photo shoot. It was loads of fun and we will say it again, how good do Harriet and Jamie look together. It was then time for the wedding breakfast and speeches. A particular highlight was the guest appearance of a cardboard cut out Jamie with a toilet seat round his neck. What happens on the stag night stays on the stag night perhaps!
After the food (always a highlight at Crow Hill) the guests got into the party spirit of the PhotoBooth. Everyone happily searched for their special props and threw some some great shapes for the camera.
We left with the party in full swing. The dance floor was packed and we went home as happy bunnies knowing we had captured such a fab day.
Many many Congratulations to Harriet and Jamie from all of us.
