Nicola and Andrew’s was a lovely intimate wedding at The Inn at Whitewell, its a place we know very well having shot many weddings there . They wanted no fuss just a lovely day to share with family and friends to celebrate their marriage and thats exactly what they got. Thats why they chose us to cover their day, it was a perfect fit.
More and more of our brides are wearing lovely original vintage dresses this year and its a trend we hope continues, how good does Nicola look, she pretty much took Andrews breath away too as they met at the alter of St Michaels church. We have come to know Reverend Scott over the past few years and his unique style, it’s kind of one of those ‘ have to be there’ things really but he really is our favourite Vicar, you know you are going to get a personal warm friendly greeting at this church.
After the ceremony we took the chance to leave the guests for 20 mins to have a walk round the charmingly named “Piggeries”! -The beautiful house and grounds that belong to The Inn. The sun shone and we had a bit of a giggle with Nicola and Andrew as we photographed them.
I’m not sure we have ever done a wedding at The Inn at Whitewell where its hasn’t been very dark and overcast as we have arrived in the morning only for it to be lovely and sunny in the afternoon, this was no exception and on our return we found most of the guests enjoying the sun a drink and the stunning views on the terrace at the Inn.
For us this was a relatively short but sweet wedding as we were not required to shoot any preparation shots or the speeches, but it is still one that will live long in our memories and all who attended as a truly wonderful relaxed day.
Its also worth mentioning the cake which was made by Nicolas Dad, who just happens to be a master baker, a true think of beauty thats for sure, the detail was absolutely exquisite.
Andrew and Nicola we wish you all the very best for the future and we just know you will enjoy reliving your day over again with these lovely images (even if we do say so ourselves)!
absolutely brilliant Tim, love em.
Thanks Andrew
