We always have a smile on our face as we make the short journey over the hill to photograph a wedding at Crow Hill, knowing it was Marc and Nadine we were going to meet made it that bit sweeter. We knew Nadine would look stunning (she did) and that Marc, groomsmen and family would be having a ball (they did), you always hope that the bridesmades will look great and be a warm friendly bunch (they did and they were) and that the weather will be warm and sunny (no complaints there either!).
Nadine and Marcs family and friends are obviously very important to them and this really came over on the day. Every wedding has a different feel to it and this one was definitely a friendly relaxed family affair and an absolute joy to be part of.
At Crow Hill generally the bride and much of the family gets ready in the grand house whilst the groom and party get ready in the house just next door, this enables us to flit from one to the other during the preparations ensuring we don’t miss anything during this lovely part of the day.
After the lovely ceremony everyone went out onto the front area too catch up with friends and family and to enjoy the refreshments whist we quickly snook off to do some shots of Marc and Nadine in and around the lovely gardens of Crow Hill.
Later on after the meal and speeches we shot the Photo Booth with went down a storm, the guests were very enthusastic and were getting into some very creative poses (a few drinks always helps with this!).
After the first dance we said our goodbyes, we were still smiling as we drove away knowing everyone present had had an amazing day and by the looks of it were happy to continue until the light went out.
