A couple of weeks back we photographed the wedding of the lovely Siobhan and Rob at the White Hart, Lydgate which is very local to us. We began photographing at their fab home which was not far from the Lydgate venue as the preparations were going ahead. There was a definite wedding buzz floating around and a few family members & friends sharing in the preparations at the house, not to mention Lola the Dog (& Ring Bearer!) who had a special collar to wear for the occasion.
Siobhan was having her final touches applied when we arrived and then she slipped into her gorgeous French lace gown which had a very romantic and elegant look to it- she was picture perfect! Bekka left to meet Rob at the White Hart where there was a alight air of nerves but also you could tell by Rob’s face how excited he was to see Siobhan. As the guests filled the wedding ceremony room which was in the lovely Oak Barn at the White Hart, Rob patiently waited for his beautiful bride to arrive.
It was a lovely moment as the bridal party (plus Lola) ascended down the aisle and the look on Rob’s face said it all, they were obviously just meant for each other. After the lovely ceremony there was some acoustic music performed and the signing of the register. Then it was time for a few drinks and some couples’ photos (one of our favourite parts of the day)! Lola came along to join in the photo shoot as she is obviously a very big part of Siobhan and Rob’s family. We went down the country Lane that the couple often walk Lola and took some romantic style natural shots of them all. We then had a little wander through Lydgate and the shots just reflect the closeness and happiness that the couple share.
When we got back it was meal, speech and party time for the guests, and some amazing dancing which we were very impressed with! Thanks so much for sharing your day with us Siobhan and Rob- we hop you enjoy your lives as a married couple and we wish you all the best. CONGRATS!!
