The Squires Cafe Bar, Pontefract Biker Wedding of Angie and Don

Squires Cafe Bar Biker Wedding

To say I was looking forward to this Squires Cafe Bar Wedding is an understatement . I mean photographing weddings and motorcycles are 2 of my favourite things. This really shouldn’t be a job!

It started in Pontefract.

No preparation shots for this wedding so I met Don meeting and greeting guests outside the lovely Pontefract Registry Office. How good do the page boy and bridesmaid look too.

After the warm and well humoured ceremony, with some lovely readings by Angie’s daughters it was time for confetti and for the party to start.

Wedding Photography at Squires Cafe Bar

We got straight into the couples portraits when we arrived at Squires Cafe Bar. Don and Angie didn’t want anything too posed, most people don’t these days, so we made good use of the assorted motorcycles. The bikers were more than happy to help out. As I said before photographing motorcycles and weddings are just about my favourite things so I was right at home wandering in and out of the throngs of bikes coming and going at the cafe.

Angie and Don wanted a friendly relaxed family and friend orientated wedding and the nailed it to say the least. I wish you two all the very best for the future, you are clearly made for each other. You never know we may bump into each other in the future on one of our two wheeled adventures. I hope we do.

I hope this comment box is the right one for the photographs of mine and Don’s wedding day.  Tim, I could never have imagined how extraordinary your shots of the day would be. I knew they would be special but somehow all the emotion has been  captured in celluloid (ok, I know it’s digital really, but let’s not be nit-picky) and these shots overwhelmed me totally, and made me cry.  You have a rare gift and you have found it and you use it….not everyone in life manages that. I’m actually gobsmacked, and that hasn’t happened before.  I can’t thank you enough for capturing our day so perfectly and in so doing, being part of our family history.  I will print the photographs and they will be looked at by future generations, long after Don and I are gone.  I love that idea.  Thank you again Tim. We are so looking forward to seeing the rest x
