Create the perfect Teepee Wedding the Iona and Nick way!

This Saddleworth Teepee wedding was simply amazing!

I’m lucky enough to have shot many weddings in Saddleworth – I do live there after all! So I was really pleased when Nick contacted me, saying that I’d been recommended to them and that they planned to get married outdoors and have a teepee wedding, using lovely picturesque Saddleworth as a backdrop. Iona and Nick were right – why go anywhere else when you have something this beautiful right on your doorstep? (Well, just less than a mile from my doorstep.)

DIY Wedding

The plan was to do most of the preparations themselves, aside from getting in some recommended wedding professionals, and that’s exactly what they did. It was their vision and their hard work that brought it all together. The beauty of doing it yourself and totally putting your own stamp on the day is that there is nobody telling you ‘you can’t do that’ because it’s the rules. When you do it yourself there are no rules!

The results of that are a fantastic, unique, friendly and stylish wedding in gorgeous Saddleworth countryside. Really – what’s not to like?
