Unbelievably this was our first wedding at one of our favourite venues Crow Hill this year. Although happily we are back at Crow Hill next weekend too. It feel like we have known Kirsty and Ian for ages now, I guess we have, its been fun meeting up with them to discuss their wedding photography. Ian and Kirsty are such a fun couple, I think that was the theme of the wedding, fun! I’ve said many times on this blog that every wedding has a feel to it and that this comes from the top down, that why this was such a warm , friendly and fun day. You can see too that their son Forrest even at his young age has all these charms in abundance. Kirsty looked absolutely amazing in her stunning gown but even she at times was upstaged by Forrest.
When I have met with Kirsty and Ian we had discussed getting some lovely Autumn coloured wedding(helped along by the lovely floral designs of Lilly Blossom) images, all this looked like it was in danger when the day before the whole of our area in West Yorkshire came to a standstill due to very heavy snow, which in its self on the wedding day adds a different dimension so really I was quite looking forward to some snowy wintery images. On the morning of the wedding though much of the snow had gone, but there was just enough to give us a few wintery images. The Autumn colours had to be helped along a little with the help of some flash, we do like a challenge though and this is a set of images we know we will keep coming back to.
I’ll stop now and let the images do the talking, but Kirsty, Ian and Forrest we wish you all the future happiness that you deserve and thats a huge amount.
Highly delighted with these first few photos of our wedding. Tim was never intrusive, yet popped up everywhere with his colleague, taking the most lovely natural shots as well as some posed. Great people, never pushy, we just cant wait to see the rest!
